Hilarie D.- My son Elijah has been going to daycare with Ms. Kathy since he was 3 months old, he's now 3 yrs old.
As we all know, it's not easy trusting someone with our children. Elijah absolutely loves Ms. Kathy & her family. My husband & I have no family close & it was wonderful to have the Shillings as a second family.
As a daycare provider, Kathy does a wonderful job of teaching the children. My son knows his ABCs, he counts to 20, he knows his colors, his shapes, & has been taught beginner sign language! There are many other things he has learned as well.
We have recently moved due to my husband's job & had to leave Ms. Kathy's. Let me tell ya, it was hard on my
son, but I think even harder on me as a mom to leave such a great daycare provider. I even suggested they move with us. Lol!
So, if your looking for a caring, well organized, & educational daycare. This is the place.
We miss you Ms. Kathy & Elijah says "Hi" :-)

Diana A.- Kathy is the best in Denton and my son loves her so much!
When we had to leave Ms. Kathy, it broke our hearts. It really feels great to know that your child is in good hands and learns everyday. I will never forget how my sons eyes lit up as I dropped him off in the mornings!
Thanks Kathy for taking such great care of Austin!

Kathy, Kathy, Kathy....what can I say? I had the pleasure of having my daughter's loved by this family as if they were part of the family. My first daughter Jayci first started out in a daycare facility when she was eight month's old. My husband and I became very dissatisfied with that facility and began researching for in-home care. We had our interview with Kathy and immediately I had that "good, mama know's best" feeling. My instincts were correct. And let me tell you, my daughter was a preemie, so I was VERY nervous about leaving her with anyone. Kathy is very tuned in to each child's needs and makes every child feel important. Jayci never cried when I dropped her off or picked her up like she did at the other facility and that was a relief. Kathy is very hands-on when it comes to teaching the children, having certain age appropriate curriculums that she follows. My daughter learned sign-language, shapes, colors, the alphabet, how to write her name, etc. She always came home with new crafts and worksheet handouts so I could keep up with her progress. As far as behavioral issues, Kathy is extremely caring and works with the parents to help correct any issues at hand. She genuinely truly cares for each child. She watched my first daughter Jayci from 18 months-4 years of age. After I had my second daughter she watched her at eight weeks of age until I was able to quit my job. We ended up moving to College Station and I ended up staying home with my girls. It was very hard for Jayci to leave Mrs. Kathy and her family; we still keep in touch with them to this day. I feel very blessed to know that when I was working and had to leave my babies, I knew they were in great hands. I was able to focus on my job and not constantly be worrying about how my kids were. Of course, you still miss your kiddos, but it is such a relief to know they are safe. I could go on and on about my experiences; I have so many great stories to share and brag about how much my daughter learned at Mrs. Kathy's, but I don't have enough room to type it all. With that said, if anyone reading this has any questions or would like to talk to me about Kathy's Clubhouse, I would happy to oblige. Just get in touch with Mrs. Kathy and she can let me know. Her family was truly a blessing to my family.
